Our Mission
PORCH-Durham provides supplemental food to Durham children and their families who are facing food insecurity.
Our Model
Established in 2011, PORCH-Durham partners with schools and nonprofit organizations across Durham County to identify families most vulnerable to food insecurity. Through these partnerships, we provide shelf-stable food collected through our monthly community food drives—most of which are organized and supported by neighborhoods throughout Durham.
