Food drives
The PORCH model is built around the idea of neighbors helping neighbors. Our neighborhood food drives have always been, and continue to be, the backbone of our programming. Each month, volunteer Neighborhood Coordinators collect food donations on their selected day and transport them to our central collection location. Every can or bag of food adds up, and every item donated to a PORCH-Durham food drive will be distributed to one of our community partners that same day!
